New custom Ceramic Clutch

3 weeks ago my clutch bearing release said no-no no more shifts... i had to drive the car with no clutch and in 3rd gear to get it repair...

a small part of the clutch bearing release broke and damage my friction plate... so a brand new friction plate, a new clutch bearing release, a custom made ceramic clutch and a "almost new" flywheel are in...

My previous clutch was still in a good shape but i've some proyect in mind for a very near future so i thought this was the right time to change it...

So Finally my car is fixed... it feels pretty good i must say... way better than my old clutch...

(sorry... but the pictures were taken with a web cam... so they are low quality)

Ceramic clutch (no springs)...

F16... its more clean than that now

Its not the biggest auto repair shop ever... but is something

Maniac give me you adrees to check the shipping cost.

And give the the weight of the clutch to get a better coute. And this cluch os for what car (compatible)

Its a custom made one... using the center of my older F16 one...

Give me sometime i've to double check the price and other things... because they had to use my flywheel and a new friction plate to make the clutch.

And this will increace the torque (redirect the hp from the engine to the tire?)

On good/high powered cars (or every day racers) the stock clutch "spins" and wears out quickly...

A clutch like this increases the grip (friction) or response of the engine and gives you the "feel" of a more torquey engine... but does not increase the torque/hp, is just that now your tranny is capable to response more quickly.

meaning dont get it under 160 hp?

i mean personaly mine doesnt spin as far as i can telll... i do tend to have one of the springs on the clutch to fly off and dmg everything :s (had it on a nexia once and a lanos) now im using a 2.0 clutch.... im happy

But you get performance with the 2.0 cluch? Damm daewoo no have a 2.5l to change mine.
