DVE Header installed on AVEO!
UPDATED
Well Finally installed it . I am very pleased. A little more raspy, a pop here and there. And you can tell when I'm getting on it. As for power, I know this is what you are waiting for. You have to remember that I have a full CAI and U/D pulley. But with this header lets just say I uncorked the motor. I did not, repeat DID NOT loose any torque, feels the same, but when that VGIS opens at 4k look out she moves, pulls hard. I already had a Honda civic hatch it was mid 90's or something trying to race me. I let him in front then hammered it, I pullled a car and a half on him, even with his VTEC kicked it. This was on a city street. On the Highway it's better. Just say I pulled to 90 in 3rd very fast went to 4th pulled to 110 good but then let off. The car is a lot more reponsive. The little hesitation with the engine when you rev is gone. Again I am very pleased. I would recomend to anyone that want s to tune the Aveo.
Well it arrived today
not bad for 290 USD that's including shipping from AUS

sounds about rightaveosam wrote:i just throwing this out there but most likely the header will give the exhaust a better flow and makes it easier for the engine to "breathe"....only true way to tell is to dyno it and compare it to his last dyno runJohnnyC wrote:Also... what benefits will this new header have for you?
