Ok i have a 2001 Leganza CDX with an auto transmission. I can't get the car to shift out of park. I have to put the key in the shift release and start from Neutral if I want to move. But to add to this my brake lights wont work. If I turn on the lights they work but do not change when the brake is applied. I checked below the brake and there is a white sensor. I am pretty sure this is the problem and It would take me about $20 and a half an hour of my labor. Are there any other ideas before I buy the sensor.
Thanks
-Alex

It is fixed. Took like 5mins to replace, and everything is back to normal
