front muffler?

front muffler?
i was wondering what exactly would happen, if anything if i was to replace the front muffler with either a straight pipe or a glasspack

its a resonator.... without it you may see slight gains, but your car would sound like an elephane farting through a straw because resonators take the high pitched frequencys out of your exhaust note

it dependes on the car for instance, on the nubira that pice is called a pre-cat then the second unit is the actual cat.

Not exactly true. Depends which muffler you will use (for the 2nd muffler). Dont bother I did that at first and with the stock muffler there was no difference but when I changed the muffler WOW what a difference

Here check this out its long but you will see and hear the difference since I took out my resonater and added a Tanabe Medalion muffler
