Talking very simple, I am trying to categories spark plugs into 3 categories based on the number of electrodes i.e. 1, 2 or 4. My question is that which is better, a spark plug with a single electrode, or double electrode, or the one which has 4 electrodes. What I think is that a spark plug with 4 electrodes will give a greater spark but will put load on ignition coil as the resistance will decrease 4 times than for single electrode spark plug. What do you think?
Spark plug produce just one spart at time, no matter how much electrode it has. But, spurk choose allways the best way to "jump", so if one electrode it's not perfect spark can jump between central and "cleaner" one.
