can i polish the inlet of my compressor housing ?
is it going to do any good ?

You could sand the inlet smooth and polish it up nice with a Dremmel or similar. Smooth the airflow... the difference is probably too small to worry about it.

That said i'd do it - I'd do the entire compressor housing though!!

How much boost is the 300ZX turbo good for? how much psi max? and in what year did the turbo came in the 300ZX?

yes is true they max out @ 12psi

but for my set-up this is like stage 1

thats way the small turbo wasnt a big concern

searching with the part number it points out i came out of a

300zx 88-89 kind of old

but this one looks in good condition no shaft play

i already polish the inlet and gave it a paint job

i know it will come off i hope not

is a engine paint with ceramic holds 500 deg.
