Cold Air intake cleaning

Post by Bringrice »

So you know, I have the standard CAI with the filter running near by the right fog light, everything is great. I went to this carwash the other day, paid way to much...but they gave my underbody a little wash down.

Now I wanted to know, will that undercarriage wash be enough to clean my air filter or should I just pop it up and clean it with my hands?

When hitting it from behind, I prefer to tap it "Daewoo Style"

If this is a K&N filter, you need to remove it, clean it with water, and reoil the filter to have the filter work correctly.
