just out of interest, does anyone know whether any manifold (or turbo-manifold for that matter) from another car fits onto the lanos sohc engine?
or which manifold would need the least modification to make it fit?
or... would i be better off modifying the existing manifold, or getting an adaptor to fit a turbo?
if i can get this information quick enough i can probably still get a turbocharger for free (or a very small fee) from a friend who has about 4 just laying around in the back of his van.
any help/info is appreciated.

Cargo cultism is a beautiful thing as long as you never fall for it.
If it's free get it anyway tbh.
Sell it on if it's no good to you.

you can always fit the turbo to the OEM mani using an adaptor as long as the turbo is not too big.

yes indeed but they are very easy to do at any local machine shop... miles easyer and cheraper than making a new manifold.
