I need to find both catalytic converters for my 99 nubira (need the one off of the exahust manifold, and the one located down past the downpipe.)
One is cracked the other has dented piping all around it from an acciedent months ago... Need to get it repaired...

The second cat is pretty Universal. Just get the sizes that you need and order it off ebay. The first one is a bit rough.

if one from a legy will work i can call a local junk yard to see if the legy they have (no engine) still has it. pm me a price to see if you want to pay their price (if they still have it)

as long as it's a 98 or 99, with a 2.0L it will be the same part.

you can get 1 for the Aveo from the chevy dealer but they are around $700

why not just straight pipe the cat and put the second o2 sensor on an anti-fowler?

not sure how legal straight piping it would be from the manifold down to the second cat... On cars in the US isn't the first catalytic converter the primary source of emission reduction?
