our cars make more TQ than HP

long intake manifold = more torque
looms in the exhaust port and exhaust manifold = more torque

thats my analysis

stock figures of our engines ... T20SED 128hp 136tq T22SED 131hp 148tq ... also gives an idea

Ok..... good to hear.... sounds like the temperature is fine.....when you said glowing I think of bright red.... like the color of a burner on full after it's heated up..... I've seen a number of manifolds that hot.... but they were pushing very serious boost and horsepower levels.

I took a few different things into account such as my own dyno graphs and with 191lbft of torque the car should be making between 172whp and 178whp

Here are my stock graphs.. http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtop ... 05&start=0

As such I do retract my statement saying it should be making 190whp to 200whp.... it should be more like 175whp.

I must have been tired or something.... I think I was basing numbers off of guestimates of horsepower at the crank.

So..... although I do think your dynograph is wierd.... the numbers seem ok.

Yes I am happy with the peak numbers for this boost level, actually they are more than I thought I would get. What I am not happy with is the powerband. I'm going to switch to a different MAP sensor and get it retuned and I'm pretty sure I'll see better top end. Also gotta get rid of these weird quirks the Honda MAP is causing.

nubira2.2 is due to head desing, thats what the UK tuners say.

even on 4trottle applications is the same, so its not a thing of long runners etc.

We have relocated the IAT sensor to the turbo inlet and now have the proper injector wiring clips (we had a ghetto wiring setup temporarily). Also got a new AEM Dryflow Synthetic filter.

Heres an article explaining the new filter technology

and the product page on AEM site

Got my boost gauge installed properly yesterday. Its a Stewart Warner "competition" gauge. It came with green and red filters to put over the bulb for the backlight. I chose green to match the other gauges. I'll try to get a pic at night.

so there is no information you can give out about those injectors? and somewhere it said something about the injectors being the same as the chevy aveo injectors. Chris is this true?

Well I can give out some info... What would you like to know about them? BTW they are "Siemens (Deka)" injectors.

I could easily see the Aveo and Optra having the same injectors to simplify manufacturing.

Very true. This guy is planning 10-12 psi for his reno which he claims it will handle safely.... I've spoken with him and he actually did get it running @ 10psi and it put out 210whp, but they were running out of fuel.
