Which oil to use?

which oil should i use in my turbo car ?

im currently using 10W30 but i noticed that when it get very hot oil pressure @ idle is low

recomendations ? experiences?

I wouldnt go with a lower viscosity. A synthetic 10W30 should be good, even a 15w40 might be fine.

I agree with Tim, 10W30 for the colder season, and 15W40 otherwise. At least semi-syntethic. Also, remember to let the car idle for about 30s - 60s before shutting it off. This will help to cool the turbo down.

Even if it's water cooled - it's a good practice.

I dont like turbo timers - DIY!

my turbo is water cooled and i let it idle for 30 sec

so whit 15W40 i wont have any problem with the lifters ?

i live in the PR so u know there is no snows here

temperatures range from 75-100 degrees farenheit

i remove the thermostat
