To explain it..... all you have to do is look at the location of the sale..... Melbourn Australia......I remember something about them being pissed off about Daewoo's being pushed onto them by Holden ( who is the GM corporation holding the shares in GMDAT )

Considering they export way more Daewoo parts than cars they bring in.... I have a feeling they are clueless about the relationship.

I allways say Daewoo's are Rebadged Opels..... but really... they are more a Holden vehicle than anything..... even today the 2.0L engines going into the Daewoo vehicles are still coming out of the port melbourn plant.

The 1.6L are now produced in Korea..... but they are probalby using machinery and molds from Holden.
