How to use seafoam on leganza?

Post by Man with no name »

Ive read several posts about seafoam and I wanna try it out before my next oil change...which will be sometime this week.
However, I couldnt find specific instructions on how to use it on a leganza, and being that I dont know anything about cars I dont wanna mess something up.
If anyone has used it in his leganza and can tell me how to do it, I would be much obliged!

Thanks

i don't know about sea foam as a product but it is advisable on the 2.0 and 2.2 engines to take off the intake for cleanup as it is designed in a way that it is impossible to drain whatever substance you throw in it... this is typicly why it gets very dirty.

Use Seafoam in the Gasoline

Post by chefrobert »

I know seafoam hads many products out there . Regarding the original product- I would only use it in the gasoline. Regardless of what you may hear.

It is a nice topoil and cleans the intakes well. I use it in everything (Lawnmowers, chain saws and Daewoos and ford pickups. (1/2 can to tank of gas)
I currently own two
different 2001 CDX Leganzas
