Interesting Daewoo cars...

let's just hope these get into production...

Daewoo Tosca (i look at this and think "BMW 5 series")

Daewoo G2x (most likely based on the Vauxhall/Opel VX220)

The bottom one is a Saturn Sky...

GM decided that in order to try and make Daewoo the number one car company in Korea they would introduce a sporty car...aka the Saturn Sky which has been rebadged as the Daewoo G2X. I remember reading about it on a website...maybe on edmunds.com or something.

The Saturn Sky is a rebadged Vauxhall/Opel VX220.

the tosca is in production if my mind does is right.

the bottom one is the new OPEL GT, wich is sold in korea under the Daewoo badge.

The Sky has a different front me thinks.

You should read about the Saturn Sky Redline...I think it runs at about 260 hp? Pretty nice for a Saturn.

A little specs...this is from the 2007 Saturn Sky Redline...

0-60 was 5.2 seconds and 1/4 mile is run at 98 mph.

ENGINE TYPE: turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve inline-4, aluminum block and head, direct fuel injection
Displacement: 122 cu in, 1998cc
Power (SAE net): 260 bhp @ 5300 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 260 lb-ft @ 2500 rpm

dont you guys ever read car mags. the car started as a opel gt and became the pontiac solstice (gxp with the 2.0 direct injected motor) and then decided to make it the sky also (redline is jjust like the gxp)

these cars are insane... the motor is turbo charged and makes 260 horse but they have aftermarket exhaust that adds 100 horse with a tune. GM is also thinking of making the corvette V8 a direct injected motor.. now that would be insane

DIDNT ANYONE WATCH SETUP??? ON SPEED??? they had 12 of them racing for awhile, there is also several of the solstice gxp now drifting

Chris was even thinking abought getting one

The regular sky and solstice only make 177 hp though...
