Post by MMamdouh »

as most of you know i got myself a new lanos and it is black... i took away the mesh grill i modded from dad's car and now i need a color opinin as my color choices suck!

should i keep the outer frame chrome as it is and paint the mesh black? or paint the frame black and paint the mesh silver??

Of those 2 choices I would say go with silver frame, black mesh.

paint the mesh silver, if its black you might not even be able to see it unless you are really looking. and as far as the trim piece i say leave it chrome, the 3 section grill is one of the most noticable (and nicest looking) things on a daewoo, if you paint it black it will blend in and not be seen. but thats just my opinion.

Black car, black mesh, black frame... The best... Trust me...

Also, paint headlight frame in black. Like I did...

Remove all brand marks, signs, etc. Remove all chrome from the car...

Lower it 2 inches, and put some 16 inch nice looking rims...

And you are in the business...

i got a friend that got a blak woo too and he has 15" rims and painted the whole grill in black... it blended too much into the car and is hardly seen

i am cosidering painting the headlight frame or atleast fog the adjasent area on the headlights but i hate debadging.

it looks very good MM, but u really need to paint the inner of the head lights in black also like u did in the nubira, but use a BLACK silicon when u collect the headlight pieces again cuz when i painted my nubira headlights and used the normal white silicon it showed some light coming from the egdes of the headlight at night, black silicon is advised for the best quality finish ;)

>Custom made intake manifold with 2.0L TB and larger injectors (soon to be done)
