My girlfriend has a Pioneer deh-p3800mp and I love it...it is so much better than my old Pioneer unit...Honestly I love Pioneer cd players...They seem to last a long time and give great sound quality.

people were arguing that the eject mechanism on pioneer MP3 players cause problems... did you encounter any of those??

Never happen to me. I've had my Pioneer for eight years lol. My girlfriends is about a year old and she's never had a problem with the eject mechanism.

After a year, she says some of her cd's do get very fine scratches and it is taking it longer to read enhanced cd's (the ones with computer stuff on them) they still load and play though (I suspect it needs a laser lens cleaning to fix those problems). I also might add that her cd player doesn't fit in the dash well and vibrates around cause there isn't enough room for it to fit flush and be mounted securely. If it was mounted more stable like the one in my car it probably wouldn't have those problems cause I suspect the vibrating has loosened things up inside it.

ive had 2 pioneer head units, a deh p2500 adm a deh p 6400, love them both. on occasion when i eject a cd it doesnt come out as far as normal but it does eject them enough to take the disk out easy so its not a big deal. thumbs up on pioneers
