Shock replacment... need opinion about MONROE

my car feels wobbly and all and i recon it is the shocks... OK the car has only 68k kms but our streets and roads would kill the suspension of a Hummer in a year.

i was thinking of getting me a set of KYB premium (no KYB gr2 here) just like the set i put on my dad's car... those were a bit stiffer than OEM and added to the car's stability indeed but i found that so many people are saying MONROE is even better

i asked for the set of MONROE's and they were some 800LE (148USD) compared to the KYB's 500LE (92.60USD) so it is more expensive than the KYBs and has to be way better to be worth the price difference.

what is your feedback guys about them MONROE's? anyone have them on his/her woo? or even on another car and can give feedback about how do they perform? are they woth the extra money?

i got monroe ones... with intrax springs and i can tell you they kinda suck... i am not a crazy driver and yet like in one week one shock popped... thank God i got the pepboys warranty so every time one gets messed up i go take them the shock and replace

so you are against them... i heard stories like that but i don't know how can a manufacturer sucks like this yet be well known all over the world
