Nubira 2.0l ECU/PCM into a Lanos 1.6l ?!?! Possible?!?!

Post by AborteK »

Well, newbie to the Woo family but oldie in the racing community....

I heard it was possible to exchange/swap a Nubira ECU/PCM into a Lanos.

I dont know how true this could be, i know in so many other cars it is possible ( honda's, toyota's, mitsubishi's, etc.)

Would enjoy to exchange thoughts and info on if this is possible and if it is, has anyone done it? Do any good?

like Jorge said, you'd just be dumping a ton of fuel and almost flooding the combustion chamber.

keep in mind that you get the most power buy leaning the fuel out (just short of detination).

the only reason you would need more fuel is if you are building a turbo/SC motor.

Mocpac thats true the 1.5 ecu limit at 6300rpms. The 1.6 ecu limit at 5800rpm. But I find a problem interchanging it. With the 1.5 ecu the VGIS not work so you need to open it manually. The knock sensor not work... But the other works good and feel better...
