Battery problem I think

OK, when I leave the car in the body shop to make the body kit the guy tolde me that he recharge the batt twice because the batt was dead. I have a Gel batt never had problems with it.

Car was park for almost two weeks only light on was alarm light (alamr was turned off and light stay on), bay be that use the battery carge dont know.

The problems is now Im getting problem to turn on the car (like low batt) and some times the music get low. Some times when I check the capasitor said Low or 10, normally said 13 to 14.

So Im thinking that the battery is damage and for some reason is not getting completetly charged. Any help here.

yeah the battery most likely is dying...my cars stereo and lights started dimming before mine died

Well I take the car to pepboy. The battery is fine.

Posible reason, when the battery get ampy even with the basic charge was enought. So the alt was chargin some amount but a minimun, let see tomorrow.

Problem still there. I remove the fuse of the sound syste, to verify if that is the problem. Batt fine. Check fuse ok. So aparently is some thing if the back... Amps, Capasitor or dont know what...

Check the earths on the engine? Should be one from the alternator, one from the gearbox and one from somewhere else if i remember correctly

I have a ground kit in the battery, maybe is a ground of the sound system.

Yes like I told you check tha back battery grounds. Check again all fuses, and check if is charging the back battery. In pep boys what battery he check?

I check the fuse today it ok. @ pepboys they only check the Gel battery not the capasitor.

we test every thing in the car.

Final Solution the battery is damage. Apparently, gel batteries cant be recharge fast as a regular battery.

you have to charge them the correct way, i dont remember how you do it but there is a special way to charge a dead gel battery

ok we do a lot of thing to the car but, apparently as you recommend piro, was the earth cables. I have a ground kit and some of them was loose. Now car is fine...
