New to the woo!

Post by eric77 »

I have recently purchased a 2000 leganza with 171,000 miles the car runs strong and shifts well it was an auto auction car so was wondering how many miles can these things go?? I am assuming that the engine was either rebuilt or replaced due to the mileage and the way the car runs. I plan on having the timing belt changed as a precaution. What else preventive other than oil, etc. needs to be done to keep these things running. Thanx in advance

Actually with the right maintenance it may never have had a rebuild on the engine. I've got 151,000 on my 1.6 lanos and it doesn't use any oil and still has plenty of power.

Almost any engine when treated right will never need much work.

You get out what you put in basically. Take care of it and it'll take care of you :p
