Help! CV/Ball Joints

Post by jl4n3 »

I am replacing my driver side lower control arm. I have to remove the CV Axle from the transmission so I can get to a long bolt.

I can not for the life of me pull the axle from the transmission! I have plenty of wiggle room...i took the hub assembly off of the strut so I just have connected tie rods but I have more than enough room for the axle to come out but it wont budge...

I tried putting car in park and neutral but nothin...someone please give me the tip!! I appreciate anyone's help!!!!!

FYI I drive a 2k1 Nubira SE THanks!

from what i remember you just have to kinda pull it back and forth, when i was working on my front suspension on the red woo, my passenger side just fell out and i was likd WTF, i broke some thing! but i stuck it back in, made sure it seated all the way and never had a problem.
