damn, i dont wish u luck, i was replacing both in front also, and it was like hell, I basically took the front rotor, and the thing that its bolted under the hood that its on the corner and got 3 screws. Yea just get like a special tool to get bearing off, like those circle things, and a hammer..... . A lot of steps. I hope this helps lol

In all honestly, sometimes it's quicker and cheaper to just replace the whole front strut/hub assembly.

I think when my bearings were going bad, I bought each of the two front assemblies for $50 each, whereas each bearing would have cost $30.

Goes in within an hour.

wow! that's $150 new? ...for all that? if so that's a pretty good deal, unless you only need the bearing.

My Advise:

it's a pain in the ass so let a shop do it while you sit back and enjoy a cold one :-D

I can post some pics tomorrow on how far I was able to get before having to turn it over to a shop with a bigger hydraulic press to get it out. I got the full assembly torn down and all that the shop had to do is press the bearing itself out, cost about $35 for both.

the fronts are sealed bearings,a shop would have to press out the old ones and press the new one in.
