Are you talking about the SR20 top mount manifoldgse_turbo wrote:the port hole line up and they usually put the turbo right where it needs to be. you just have to cut the flange off and weld a new one on.

Re: Wanted Turbo Manifold 02 Nubira 2.0L
no, the ones for the C20LET/C20XE
Re: Wanted Turbo Manifold 02 Nubira 2.0L
the sr20 manifold seems a much cheaper option though
and if you have to change the flage anyway, it would be better to save a couple of hundred $ that you could spend on modifying the manifold
just my opinion, based on what people have done on here and on migweb
also, it would be a lot simpler to source a sr20 manifold as opposed to a cLET or zLET manifold which would have to be imported

Ok let me just check something
This manifold will fit but i need to change the flange
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/89-94-Nissan-240 ... 5d2b6f1bab
Meaning the flange where the turbo bolts on
is that right

Re: Wanted Turbo Manifold 02 Nubira 2.0L
yeah it fits with a change of the flange... of course there is the possibility of clearance issues as every maufacturer has a different design and that it's designed to clear a strut tower rather than a radiator
but as i said before, you save a couple of hundred and if you need to you can spend that on modifying the manifold.
Garrett was suggesting the LET manifold over the SR20 manifold because it was designed for a car with a similar engine bay and is more likely to cause less hastles
the SR20 manifold has been done before so don't be put off
what state do you live in? maybe you could see if your local performance shop has a sr20 manifold that you can check for clearances

meaning the flange that bolts to the enginesteve_35 wrote: Meaning the flange where the turbo bolts on

and if you wanted a different size turbo... the flange to the turbo too
are you having a workshop do the turbo work?
Re: Wanted Turbo Manifold 02 Nubira 2.0L
Ill be doing it myself
I have done a turbo mod to a V8 commodore 79 VB with a rear mount T3T4
Me and a mate watched a episode of Pimp my ride where they did one and thought we should give it a try
Worked really well if you just wanted a bit more go
From a standing start you didn't notice any difference but once the revs hit 2500 whoosh away it went
Heaps of lag when you put the foot down but it was still a v8 so it moved ok without boost to start with
My main problem is understanding what of the shelf bits i can use to do this job and i don't really want to pay a huge amount for a manifold if i could find a bolt on job for around 500 id be happy but the exhaust shop wants 1350 just to make the manifold so it looks lie cost is going to be a bigger problem than parts

Re: Wanted Turbo Manifold 02 Nubira 2.0L
this might work too
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Stainless-Turbo- ... 1c158669e0
or this bargain
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/garrett-t28-turb ... 3a5f32657a
manifold needs a little work though
if you want to get the flange from Garrett, you could get it sent with stuff that I am wanting to buy to combine the postage an then I'll forward it on to you
entirely up to you though
