A few pictures:

The tires are 195/45-R16 for now, but I will try to put 205/55-R16... Look at the disc size... :)

Yes, I did. I'm not to happy with the paintjob, there are a few mistakes, but the color is nice. Black with blue grains that shines on the sun. It's black without the sun, it's bluish on the sun... :)

The engine is still the same, but I hope that the recession would past fast so I can finish the new engine with forged con rods, wiseco pistons, cometic headgasket, arp head bolts, oil injectors for cooling pistons, panel for block reinforcement, etc... I hope for 350+HP...

From the outside of the engine everything is done except for new turbo charger, water injection, and traction control. Internals would wait for the better days, alto I have bought most of the parts needed for the new engine (except wiseco pistons and stationery)...

The ABS wheel speed sensors on front wheels are sending sine signal (more as a triangular signal with rounded tops) about 40Vpp, with frequency of about 700Hz on 100km/h. The rear ABS sensors are sending real sine-wave signal with voltage proportional to speed, and about 10Vpp on 100km/h with about 430Hz of frequency...

Here is the PCB design of Traction Control module.

Image

After the LM1815, the processor gets the signal right like one on the picture. Green is rear wheel, Yellow is front... The frequency is the double as input sine-wave...

Image

Now I have to make firmware in C for TC to count this impulses...

Now I need to know the correct number of teeth on ABS wheel sensors...

T3 turbocharger trim60 .63A/R exhaust .42A/R inlet, Toyosports exhaust manifold, external WG 46mm...
ImageImageImage

Little, to little space between the radiator and turbine. But everything fit. The only annoying thing is fan that cannot fit because of the external WG. Now I'm thinking to move a WG or buy thin fans like SPAL ..

Valveworks...

Headworks...

Valves and head looks better than new! :)

So I ordered this:
Image

2x12'' 1500cfm each on 2200rpm .. 2'' thickest part of the fan, eventually even thinner at the ends... : naughty::) $120 with postage ... :)

What is the brightest way of permanently closing the internal WG? Welding countershaft outside? Put a strong spring from the outside? Weld plate for the door in?

Well, I'm saving and buying all the part all over the world for almost 2 years now. This turbo engine will cost me around $12000.

Europe. I'm too far from you... :)

I was calculating how much it would all cost me .. Here's the preliminary list ... 1EU is about 1.4US$

600EU forged pistons wiseco
400EU forged connecting rods
100EU cometic head gasket
100EU arp head bolts
100EU processing block cylinders
60EU drilling beds for oil syringes
200EU processing head workshop
150EU tools for headworks, porting and polishing
150EU block reinforcement
50EU bolts for the main bearings and sump
300EU distribution and other seals
50EU sump gasket
70EU Oil syringes
300EU GM valves
50EU processing crankshaft
70EU nitration crankshaft

This is the only engine, approx 3000EU

300EU exhaust manifold for T3
400EU T3 garret turbocharger
20EU T3 oil drain
30EU T3 supply of oil
150EU thin Fans
150EU EXT WG
100EU BOV
200EU coils over plugs
250EU fuel injectors
150EU C20LET tophat
350EU Stand alone vems
60EU EGT sensor
30EU LCD display for VEMS
150EU fuel pump
50EU Swirl pot
150EU tubes for IC
150EU silicone tubes (knee) for the IC
200EU IC
300EU exhaust
200EU downpipe
150EU water injection pump
50EU syringes and pipes for WI
at least 500E mapping on rollers

remaining parts approximately 4200EU
And the list just grows. That's what I have remember...

So it's all 9.000EU approximately +/- 2.000EU depending on the turbine and how many things I am doing myself..
Plus the engine alone as a raw material (block, crankshaft, all follow-up generators, flywheel, clutch kit, gearbox, oil pump, head, cams, valve cover, etc) ... So that the engine as a raw material costs are at least 400E at the junkyard, or up to 1500EU in working condition. Gearbox in poor condition is atleast 500E 6-speed, etc. ..

In other words, one fairly built, forged 2-liter turbo engine with over 350HP with repaired gearbox and LSD will cost approximately 15.000EU! Of course, the engine that will last and will not burn after the first torture...Plus at least 5000EU for the average body (car) with suspension and wheels, and come to the fact that such an old car will cost you around 20.000EU ...
