Hi, if i got 16" rims (for example) for my lanos, what tyres will I need to go with them (size) as i have heard that when the diameter of the centre of the rim to the outside of the tyre changes, the speedo doesn't read correctly...I had never thought about it before, but there we are, lol
like the lanos
well, just told us your original tire size, and i will answer
but, like on my optra, the tire are stock on 15inch, 195/55/15
to go like 17inch, i need to put 205/40/17 tire to stay under the 2% tire diff.
like. to get the stat for your tire, just use the page there > http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
i like it, kinda easy to see stat
like for my 15inch to 17inch ,
"
Speedometer1: 60 mph 100 km/h
Speedometer2: 59.9 mph 99.9 km/h
Speedometer Difference: 0% (minimal) Diameter Difference: 0.05%
