Well its an F1 not automatic, i`ve tried it once, its fun to drive, but not for more than 30 minutes. u`ll get bored of it after a while. and its not that fast comparede to other cars in it class.Audacityracing wrote:there had to be something odd about that ferrari (besides the fact it was automatic)...
hmmm... i dont know about this race, but i`ve smoked few Gallardos in my brother's auto Porsche 911 Turbo with only a fabspeed muffler on it.

if u r using the triptronic it will automatically shifts when it reaches the limiter and it will take more time than regular shifting on auto, where in the F1 it will hit the limiter until u shift it ur self. driving it from a complete stop will be so embarrassing. it will be like the first time u drive a manual u should try it, its SOMETHING ELSE
The reason why the NSX-R overheated is basically it has not enough mid-range torque compared to the Lambos. Remember, this fella is a Honda and have VTEC written all over it. It has grocery car ability with sports car screaming altogether. The driver was pushing it at 7000-8000RPM to get that kind of power and torque to overpower the rest.
At that kind of RPM constantly, it needs a better cooling system like a bigger radiator.
The highlight of this video are the views of the drivers superior pedal techniques. It is almost like they are taking a walk in the park.

I've raced wtih a team of two NSX on a 1 hour race. Neither overheated and it was a warm day (probably 90)... the NSX overheated after 4 laps! theres something wrong there.
The pedal technique isnt very hard especialy if your pedals are close togather. I just recently started practicing it on the track after doing it on the street for along time. Im going to install my pedals i bought off tom along time ago to put the gas and brake closer togather to make it easyier.

thats vey nice stuff
i got to say it was unfair to put that C328 beemer with those bad boys... if yuo wanna see a eemer kick ass then throw in an M5 and then you will see some real ass kicking performance rather than the C328.
the NSX driver is a late brakes demon  very nice work and i think he could have held the lead if it wasn'r for the overheating thing.
the porsche could have done better... or at least that what i think.
the ferrari... i am not a big fan of that car so i don't care much about it
congrats for the Lambo. they did a good job and gave the honda hard time in the end of the race... at least the white lambo did.
one final thing: whats with pocking the brakes pedal during acceleration?? i saw the white lambo driver do it twice and i can't see the reason he is doing that... any body got an idea??

yes exactly that... right foot welded to the firewall slaming on the gas and left foot twitching the brakes pedal.Efrain A. wrote:i havent seen the video yet, but you mean, touching the brake pedal with the left foot while going in a long straight?

nope... i know what you are talking about and i understand that... what i am talking about is touching the brakes while they are in full throttle run... the white lambo did it while accelerating past the NSX, from the on board cam on the black lambo you will see the brakes lights comming on while the white lambo takes over the NSX on a straight section.Audacityracing wrote:was he down shifting? if so then he was braking then jumping the rpms up so the car didn't lurch when he let off the clutch...
**** ADDITION ****
i re-watched it.... they are doing just what i said.... keeping the revs up so that when they shift they don't lose speed
