Yes, a tune-up if it hasn't had one for a while.

and,......
I am curious about a couple of things ?

1) Why do you ask about "bad tranny fluid" ? did you put something other than Dexron 111 in yours ?... or, ????

2) I see that you were going to put 19 inch wheels/tires on your car ?

I don't know what wheel size is on your car origionaly ?
But if you went up a couple of inches taller than stock ? than the drive ratio was changed and that could explane the "slugglish-ness" you mentioned.

Ok, I was wondering about your wheels. So, that was not the "sluggish" problem than.
It still holds true tho that if you install larger than stock wheels on any vehical you will experiance a slight loss in acceleration time.
The up-side of this is slightly better gas milage due to the lower rpm's at higher speeds. And if you do a lot of freeway driving ? It pays off.

Unless your a transmission specialest ? You can't (I think Daewoomofo was refering to things like spark-plugs, air filter etc.
I know I was)
You have a General Motors transmission that is time proven to be very strong !
If your transmission is shifting smoothly and not leaking than I would leave it alone.

Did you change the filter too ?

yes i was referring to the engine. these trannys are strong, but they still cant take 100% constant abuse (im proof) so just take it easy in the tranny, how many miles are on the car?
